Britain’s youngest mother
November 26th, 2007 by
How’s that! A grandma at age 35!
A girl is to become Britain’s youngest mother after becoming pregnant at 11.The girl smokes 20 cigarettes a day despite being eight months’ pregnant. She conceived aged 11 when she lost her virginity to a boy of 15 on a drunken night out with friends.
The youngster, who lives near Edinburgh, says looking after her younger brothers has prepared her for motherhood.
But the girl admits she “panics and cries” when babies are unwell and does not feel able to bathe them.
The mother-to-be, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had unprotected sex with the teenage boy, who also cannot be identified, while drunk last August.
She told the Sun: “I didn’t think I’d get pregnant because it was my first time. But I’m really excited and looking forward to being a mum.
“I can’t wait to take the baby swimming and out for walks in the pram. I think I’ll be able to cope as I’ve had lots of practice looking after my brothers.
“I know how to feed a baby its bottle and I can change nappies. But I panic and cry if they’re sick and I don’t like giving them a bath because I’m a bit frightened.
“It’s good to know I’ll have my mum here to help me if I need her.”
The girl, who has shoulder-length dark hair, began smoking at nine and started drinking tonic wine and vodka cocktails at ten. She claimed her cigarette habit was not harming the health of her unborn child.
She said: “I can give up smoking at any time, but I don’t find it affects my pregnancy.”
Her mum said: “I’m not ashamed of my daughter at all - in fact, I’m proud of her for keeping the baby.
“I know she’s worried what other people will say but she can walk out there with her head held high.
“At first I wasn’t too happy about becoming a gran. But now I’m used to the idea. I’m really looking forward to having another baby in the house.”
I had my first alcoholic drink at age 16-17……………………………..

Drama & Ads takes place @ SMRT
August 23rd, 2007 by
I’ve come to a conclusion that STOMP, Singapore Seen has most of its posts about SMRT; like eating Roti Prata, Hokkien Mee, Sleeping, Chatting, sitting at wrong spots, doesn’t give sits to pregnant woman and eldery, sucides and ‘blar blar blar’…
Oh oh! Do you know?
Do you know that currently, there are 176 posts regarding about train woes on Singapore Seen, STOMP? It’s one of the most frequently talked about! Frankly speaking, just scrap away Singapore Seen and replace it with SMRT Seen.
Come on, I mean there’s so much more to post rather to concentrate about the happenings related to train journey, etc. Am I right?
Wrong! Okay, I am contradicting myself because there are so many ‘dramas’ on the train to the extent that LTA or SMRT doesn’t even need to consider having TVMobile installed on every cabin of the train! There are excessive reality ‘dramas’ inside every cabin.
There are 6 cabins in a MRT; which means 6 ‘channels’ for you to watch. Every cabin has its own unique channels and you can tune in to every cabin channel by walking cabin to cabin. If you prefer watching “Food Craze”, tune to Channel 1. For “Sleep O’ Holics”, tune to Channel 4.
MiloBillabong decides to watch the 2nd cabin channel.
The Pole Dancing Discovery Channel.
The Pole Dancing Discovery Channel, Every 8pm on Channel 2.
Take a look, take a close look from the top till bottom. Catch a glimpse of how his hands were placed seductively.
His posture was picture perfect and spine was streamlined with the balmy curve of the pole. With sleeves folded up, girls drool over his exposed sexy bicep and his ‘underbridge’ triceps.
If MiloBillabong were to blast the song, Justin Timberlake - Sexyback, the entire settings will be perfect for true HD filming.
Now, my dear readers, you tell me whether does anyone want to stand around his territory and worst of all, hold on to that particular pole?
Mr Durian Ting Ah Miao, a 65 year old retiree says: “Siao ah! Who wants to stand beside him? He’s on his sexy act and don’t go and steal the limelight lah! His armpit must be damn smelly and I am so disgusted by it! Why public transport must ban commuters for possessing durians?
I want to propose new rule! Ban all those who flaunt their armpit with their thick black forest cake!!! The smell of their armpits are practically more appalling than the scent of durians. YES! THE SCENT OF DURIANS!!”
Should LTA consider this?

No armpits exposed allowed?
With this new effective rule, Stompers will have more to complain about armpits exposed on trains because they have new rule to support their case. This will be added on to their predecessors such as No Food, No Drinks, No Durians, No Flammable Liquids and lastly, No Exposed Armpits.
Do you know?
SMRT also has hidden ads too!
You know that your movie is a local film. Thus, you are very clear that budgeting is very important in order to profit from local filming industries. So as a director for the new local movie “881″, what can you do?

Promote your movie beside MRT TRACKS! MiloBillabong spotted an incredible refreshing ad on the local movie, 881 at Jurong East MRT Interchange, the middle platform track.

Isn’t SMRT Media a true SMART media?
Readers, you can spot this @ the middle platform, 1st cabin heading towards Pasir Ris.
What’s Next for SMRT?
Ratatouille : Rat-a-too-ee ads? Sprawling rats all over the tracks?
I saw Simon Cowell folding his arms, turning his head away and says: “Absolutely Horrendous, Ghastly…” *rolls eyes*

Sorry, reserved.
August 5th, 2007 by

I’ve seen the occassional couple of tissue packs on a table… but 6 packs?! I have no idea when this behaviour started, but over the past few years it has absolutely gotten way out of hand.
I’m sure most of you have seen or encountered this peculiar form of ‘reserving’ or in more layman terms, chope-ing of seats in food courts or hawker centres. If you’ve ever taken lunch in the Central Business District area, you’re most likely going to be taken aback by the power of mere tissue packs.
You approach an empty table, you see the packs, you back off.
Why?!
Isn’t it funny how no one really bothers to do something about it? It’s just some freakin’ tissue! Anyway, if anyone of you is thinking of attempting said tissue packs on food court/hawker centre tables during lunchtime, send us an email and tell us about your experience. You stand a chance to win…
… more tissue packs.
p/s: Ok, you really stand to win something better by clicking here!

From Male To Female
July 20th, 2007 by
I really have no idea in the world why someone would resort to such measures. Maybe only people as mentally unsound as Steven Lim can give a perfect explanation. Ku ku, ku ku, ku ku.
Viewer discretion is highly advised. Please this video is not for the weak hearted and especially guys who cherish their penises. It’s not that I do not cherish little Jon, I just had to watch the video because my stinking eyeballs didn’t want to look else where.
Before you click on MORE to view the video let me just tell you the gist of it. It involved cutting and removing the penis, and then planting fake boobies from the armpits. Urgh…

Bondevia Exclusive: Drug Peddlers, in Public
June 13th, 2007 by
[Singapore 11 June, 2007] Just after attending their graduation ceremony, a group of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Students boarded bus 174 to make their way to town to celebrate, what they saw shocked each and every one of them.
Sammy (name kept to protect his identity) and his polymates found themselves seated beside a group of drug peddlers distributing drugs into small packages in broad daylight.
“Initially we thought they were just a bunch of loud mouth hooligans talking about their encounters with the police and all, I turned my head after hearing him talking on the phone about pills only to see him holding a packet of drugs in his hands. I was dumbfounded and I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t call the police as they were only beside me. So I decided to take a video, covering my phone behind my friend”
The entire upper deck of the bus was filled with commuters and the drug peddlers just went about doing their vices nonchalantly thinking that nobody would be watching since they were at the back.

“There were 3 peddlers altogether. 2 male and 1 female. The lady was seated beside the window calculating something on her phone and jotting stuff on a notepad. While the man beside her was distributing drugs from the plastic bags into small bottles and talking to another man behind. I was shocked.” said Susy, another NP student.
Our artist drew out and impression of what was going on in the bus based on their description.

What is the world coming to when illegal activities such as drug peddling can be committed in broad day light? Criminals in Singapore are becoming bolder because they feel that citizens here cannot be bothered with what they are doing so long as it doesn’t affect them directly. Do you think this is true?
The Bondevia crew understands that the only reason why the group of students refused to report this to the authorities is because they fear they might get hurt.
“I mean if they dare to do something like that so boldly in public, I don’t see why they wouldn’t dare to hurt us if we called the cops. I wouldn’t be surprised to know that anyone of them might be armed.”
Sammy sent us the video and upon inspection we realised that you could barely see the criminals in action. Nonetheless, we will be uploading the video on our website. Just click more to view.

Singapore: Indian Punch Malay Bus Driver
November 26th, 2006 by
Although the title of this entry suggest a hint of racial dispute, I think it is only a coincidence that both disputing parties happened to be off different race. The only racial issue here would be the Indian man punching the bus driver.
If you listen to the dialogue carefully, you would probably hear the Indian man complaining that since young he has never been chased away by any bus driver, and claiming that he has no coins to pay for the bus trip.
Due to the fact that we wouldn’t know what actually happened before the video was taken, we wouldn’t be able to properly conclude who is at the wrong end of this dispute. But by looking at the video itself would probably suggest that the Indian patron (in this case patron-to-be) is clearly wrong for using physical and verbal abuse. The bus driver could have said something to provoke the Indian man. But in any case, IF I didn’t have any money to pay for my bus ride, I wouldn’t argue with the bus driver just to save all the embarrassment.
And going to the extent of using verbal and physical abuse, which so happen to be criminal offences in Singapore, is probably a tad too much in this senario. Just leave the bus and get over it man. It doesn’t make you any better for punching the bus driver and videos like this would only portray you as a violent person, putting you on the losing end.
Ok, that is probably my opinion. What about you? What do you have to say about this issue?

Racial Discrimination
May 2nd, 2006 by
I think most of you would have seen the very crude remarks made by a very immature individual on the tag-board.
Going by the nickname MZ, that low life immature bastard had the cheek to discriminate my race, or at least me in my own blog. Who are you to do so?
Claiming that he is white, he called me a poseur for acting like a white skinned person. And saying that white skinned people are more opened to the homosexual community. Well, to state some facts (no matter how he is going to deny it), he must be a homosexual himself. And even IF white people are more open to the homosexual community, would you dare say that ALL of them are?
Which part of your skin colour actually says you are superior? You have a mother and a father, so do I. You have education (maybe not) , I do. You have wits but so do I. One thing I know for sure that I have that you don’t is A LIFE.
Black, white, yellow, brown, bronze, purple for gods sake we have have red blood. If you go to church ass hole, you would know that god doesn’t discriminate. Nobody can judge me, not you?
People are all the same, we only get judge by what we do. And dude, what you did was really childish and very humiliating for you and your family. I am proud to be who I am today, and you being white skinned ain’t any different from me just that you really, really need to get a life.
I am not going to let some jackass come into my blog and discriminate any race. I know I am awkward towards homosexuals but I’ll never discriminate them.
I think we all need to take a stand. Never to allow anyone to look down on us. Not in our own country, not in this planet. We learn from each others’ culture, customs and beliefs. We are different in the way we were brought up but inside we are all the same. And I understand why Mz had to say such a thing. He is troubled and he really needs help.
Let us all come together to give MZ all our support and care. To show him that it’s never too late to look for a psychiatrist to cure his mental disorder.
Remember, stand up to what you believe in. Live life to the fullest.

The Ugly Side of Fundraising
April 7th, 2006 by
“Hi! Good afternoon Sir! Don’t worry I am not from NKF and I am not asking you to buy anything don’t be scared.”
I am sure this line is familiar to some of you. Walk in the streets of Orchard and I can guarantee you that there are at least 2 people out there who would approach you and say this (count yourself lucky if you have been spared).
The next thing they’ll do is to open their plastic folder and start showing you a copy of their license and their IC. What is their agenda? One example is to help ex-convicts who are still unemployed by collecting a SMALL fee of $10. Dude, I would rather donate to the NKF ’cause they do not specify the amount we have to give? And why in the first place use NKF in your pick-up line? Did I ever say I was afraid of NKF? This is not the first time someone came up to me telling me the same old thing.
There was this other time at Novena Square, I was walking around doing my own thing when I saw 2 boys standing quite a distance away from me. It was pretty obvious that they were younger and also doing fundraising. So naturally I put on the fierce look, but to my horror those kids approached me and guess what? Guess what was the first thing that came out from their mouth?
“Sir, we are not doing a survey and we are not NKF.” F*ck you, why NKF again? I know about the controversy, but that’s Mr TT Durai’s business? The organisation is different now so why quote it?
I asked “What is it about?” One of the kid took out a plastic folder (again) and showed me pictures of poor people. Yup, my friend calls this emotional blackmail. I personally think it’s called ‘being stupid’. “Is this some kind of donation?” I asked before I was rudely interrupted by the boy saying “This is our license Sir, we are not NKF.” I mean Duh, you don’t have to keep repeating that you are not NKF, it’s pretty obvious. The NKF is more presentable with their nicely printed and attractive card folders. Not some plastic folder with black and white copies of their ICs and licenses. It’s the kind of impression they give that make people not wanna donate. That’s only 1 point by the way.
So I decline them nicely by saying that I did not have enough money before that turd interrupted me again saying, “It’s not like we are asking you to donate $50. We just need you to donate $10 for 3 months yada yada yada…(I couldn’t be bothered to listen)” SGD10.00! That’s day light robbery man, honestly I do have a slight suspicion that there is a syndicate involved. But in the name of charity, I shall not assume too much. I smiled , said my NOs and walked away. The ‘good thing’ about it is that the both of them kept staring at me, shows how attractive I am.
People these days are resorting to emotional blackmail or other psychological tactics to make people donate large sums of money in the name of charity. I’ll take a stand and say that their approach is wrong. Charity is about your WILLINGNESS to give to the needy, and not forcing people to donate.
One time my Indian friend and I was walking along Orchard. This indian guy approached him with a stack of donation tickets. He asked my friend to buy one ticket and when my friend declined he said, “do you have a problem with your own race?” That, I feel was seriously unnecessary. My friend wasn’t discriminating anybody, the Indian guy on the other hand is the discriminating culprit.
Do you have a problem with your own race? Haha, the only thing I have a problem with is his FACE!
If you have a very weak mentality and you are very soft hearted you better be cautious of such high machiavellianistic people.
The sad truth is that younger people, especially teenagers, fall into both categories. The Predators (High Machs) and the Prey (Wasting $10).
