A Day with Jay Chou

It’s about time I blogged something related to this on my blog. Most of you would have known that Jay Chou was here on Monday and Tuesday (30 & 31st July,2007) to promote his latest movie, “Secret”.

Well, we did attend both the Gala premiere at The Cathay and also the Tea Dance - Meet Jay Chou Upclose at Dragonfly, St James Powerstation. But unfortunately I am not able to cover the entire event in detail on Bondevia.com for corporate reasons. So I’ve decided to give a little visual treat to all the Jay Chou Fans out there.

Here is Bondevia’s coverage of Jay Chou at Dragonfly, St James Powerstation. I’ve gathered all the photographs and videos I taken during the event and turned it into a short 8 min video clip.

Yup, we were given VIP passes to attend the event, and the table my friend and I were seated was conveniently connected to the table used by Jay to sign autographs. What I meant to say is, I was literally within 1 meter of the superstar. No, I am not an ardent fan of Jay. But I have to admit I am still a little, ok not just a little, VERY star-strucked.

Bondevia Exclusive

This entry is an exclusive interview with 16 year old, Celeste Chen, owner of www.celestechen.com. I’ve visited her site recently, and boy was it filled with self made videos. Highly entertaining I must say, especially the one on her main page, the rendition of Delta Goodrems’s ‘Lost without you’ together with her sister Nicole Chen.

Well I did remember Nicole appearing on Channel 5’s ‘A Light Affair’ one time and I think she’s pretty hot. Being Nicole’s younger sister, what does Celeste have to say about the growing attention she’s getting right now.

Being really friendly and full of warmth, Celeste kindly accepted my request to have a short casual interview with her. Read on to know what the party girl has to share.

Being 16, how does it feel to get so much lime light? Judging roughly at least 500 hits a day in your webpage, www.celestechen.com. I am not different from any other 16 year old kid. I still live my life the same way. (:

Cool. Knowing that when there is fame there will definitely be flamers, people out there to get you, how would you deal with them? And IF there’s one thing you would like to say to them, what would it be?
I do not take what the flamers say to heart, it does not affect me. Besides it provides good entertainment for my other readers (:

Haha, I’m sure many bloggers would take it that way too. Are you a model?
I used to do child modeling when I was younger. I did a Versace fashion show with my sister. Nicole Chen

Yea, I heard of your sister. You and your sister are very pretty. Haha
But right now, I am focusing on my dancing (: Haha thanks!!

Oh, that’s something new. What type of dancing? You’re welcome!
Hip-hop, street jazz & many more. I love singing & acting too!

Haha. Looking at the “Lost without you rendition” I can tell. It was funny though
The boys in your school are they different to you? As in the way they treat you compared to other girls.
Ahah! No they don’t. I am just another 16 year old girl (: Maybe abit more well known in school, but they don’t treat me that differently

I see. Down to clubbing. Being 16, you don’t feel intimidated in clubs?
No. I am not (: The partie are underage and it is for the people under the legal age limit. There is no smoking & drinking just good plain fun like dancing to the music!

I see. Roughly an estimate, how many parties have you been to? And which is your favorite?
About 20 or so. My favorite party was this underage party held at Chinablack (: OH NONO. I take my word back. About 20 or so. But I prefer those private birthday parties !

No pun intended, in a club do guys usually come up to you to ask for your number? What will be your usual response?
Yeah Kinda. Hmmm

Would you consider yourself a party girl?
Not exactly I like staying at home actually but come on everybody ought to party once in a while. As In I go for the real cool and exciting parties

How big is the influence played by your sister in your life? Are you really close? If there is one thing you would like to say to your sister, what would it be?
It’s a great influence whatever my sister is doing is deemed cool in my eyes My Sister is awesome! She taught me so much! I love her!

Judging from the number of videos you took, would you consider yourself a video ‘geek’?
No I just consider them as part of my Art , sister’s art and it’s my emotions too. People write poetry, writing poetry is okay emotions are seen. Pictures says a thousand words but what about moving visual such as videos right?
