Lebron James Etch A Sketch

Cool isn’t it? But not as cool as me, cause’ the last time I play with an Etch-A-Sketch I was only 9 years old and I drew my classmate only to realize that he looks like a stick man. Hur hur. Cool huh?

The Simpsons Movie

The movie I have been anticipating all year long is finally opened! The Simpsons Movie I feel was rather quick. Simple story line but really funny. Deserving a rate of

3.78 outta 5 popcorns

Like I said the movie was quick giving you no time to rest from one joke to another. It’s like first you’re laughing at Homer than immediately Bart does something stupid and *puff* Maggie pops out from no where.

The plot wasn’t too complex at all, simple enough to be a Simpsons film. Bart exposes his penis for the first time for an awkward 5 to 7 seconds. The movie was more punny, punny enough to be really funny.

You would hear Homer saying “I can’t believe we’re paying for something we get for free on TV” during the Itchy and Scratchy Movie clip shown at the beginning of the movie.

I dare guarantee that you can watch this movie for a second, third time and still laugh! Be sure to pay close attention to the background and ‘props’ as there are alot of hidden jokes around.

One more time, this is a really quick movie. Squeezing a bucket full of comedy (I love using that phrase) into just 84 minutes. And stay in your seats during the credits, haha, please do not say I didn’t inform you.

Spider-pig, spider-pig, does whatever a spider pig does…

Movie Review: Knocked Up

One night stands may not be this funny in reality but it certainly has the same repercussions. Knocked up takes love flicks to another level by infusing a very realistic and down to earth plot with an entire bucket full of comedy. Which we feel deserve a rating of

4.5 outta 5 popcorns

Yes, this romance comedy is a must watch this summer, not forgetting the ever so funny Simpsons Movie opening today.

The movie is basically about a hot girl (Alison, played by Katherine Heigl) getting all high in a club and then engaging in a one night stand (commonly known here as ONS) with a really fat slob, Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) who shares a home with four other buddies and making a living from a porno website. Which resulted in Alison getting preggers.

Like ‘The 40 year old Virgin’ (also directed by Judd Apatow) I was laughing my ass off throughout the entire movie. The movie perfectly portrays the everyday problems of most couples with unwanted pregnancies and yet making it so funny it just makes you want to look in the mirror and laugh at your own face.

But there’s a fact in the movie that I really cannot deny, all the ugly fat slobs get the chicks. So girls what are you waiting for? Come to yours truly

What on earth is happening to Lindsay Lohan?

She started off pretty well, doing well in movies and often proving she was a consistent box office draw. Heck, she even had a brief singing career which also proved promising.

Now, she’s known for her partying, hard drinking, poor driving and coke snorting ways. Exactly what caused her to start falling from grace? I haven’t got a clue, but if she doesn’t get her life straight quickly, she’s in a lot of trouble and that’s an understatement.

And when news broke that she’s (again) undergoing treatment for addiction to booze, it certainly did not manage to surprise a lot of people. Oh did I mention, she was found in possession of drugs as well? If you have it, deal it!

Bad, bad Lindsay.

1500 Inmates perform ‘Thriller’

Here you have 1500 inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) in Cebu, Philippines performing Micheal Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.

Sure I’ve heard about training inmates to learn some skills while doing time, so that when they are released they would at least have some skills to enter the workforce. But training them to be Micheal Jackson? Haha, that’s probably the most sought after skill in the world!!

So after training to be MJ, what’s the next level? Child Molestation!

Steven Lim vs Xia Xue

This is pretty interesting. Xia Xue wrote a blog entry not long ago on the 7 most disgusting bloggers in Singapore (It’s actually only 5 ’cause I bet Maddox and XiaXue herself were included in the list just for fun). You can click here to view the very controversial entry.

Sad to say that 2 of them happened to be friends of mine, Celeste Chen and Lao Zha Bor. But as the Bondevia motto goes, ‘We believe in Freedom of Expression‘ so everyone is entitled to say what they want. I won’t go on and rant about how rude and arrogant Xia Xue is to write such an entry yada yada, at least she is aware that there are consequences to face for her actions and she’s ready to face them head-on.

The funny thing about such controversy is to see the way different people react to the situation. Take our dear friend Steven Lim for example, he went totally crazy. Not that I think he is sane to begin with, but that entry really scared the sh*t out of my butt hole. I’ll let you see the video yourself, but here’s a warning:

2nd Lt. reprimanded by SAF

I’m not exactly a fan of nor really understand politics (be rest assured, this entry has nothing to do with it), but I do know who is leading our country and I can most probably name you our President. I do know also, that like all of us, the sons of these figureheads do go through National Service just like us peasants. Whether or not there is such a thing as a ‘white horse’ system in the Army remains to be seen, but the following article may just be the SAF squashing those murmurs about the ’system’.

Apparently, 2nd Lt. Lee Hong yi (our venerable PM’s son) sent out the following complaint letter to almost everyone concerned. From what I understand, 2nd Lt. Lee was made to do duty for a fellow comrade who AWOL-ed on a couple of occassions, leading Lee to question the quality of leadership of our army men. Enter a long, long… really long email with words I may have never seen up till his point.

The decisions of the battalion HQ are equally saddening. How can a lower standard of discipline be expected of officers than of men? In the our society, when a police officer commits a crime he is held to an even higher standard, and given even greater punishment than a normal citizen, this is because he has betrayed the very values it is his duty to uphold.

I’m afraid the collective eyeballs of the reading crowd might be strained, so the article can be retrieved here and here at your will.

Hello world.

Hi guys. I’m Boss Bondevia’s latest henchman in his scheming bid to take over the world… well not so much the World, but you get the idea. Sorry, I’ll get a better looking picture but that’s all I have currently ):.

What can you expect from me? Self-deprecating humour, movie reviews, weird stuff, funny videos, and more self-deprecating humour. Yeah I’m a pretty sad guy, but if you read Bondevia often and help spread the word to your friends and family, then I’ll be happy :D.

Alright, I gotta run now (damn presentations!). I’ll be back sooner than later… in the meantime, I’d like to thank Boss Bondevia for picking (hiring?) me. I hope I don’t disappoint. Oh before I forget, you can call me KayKay… kk?!
