Bondevia- We Just Don’t Care
April 25th, 2007 by
Seriously I am not the sort of person who would do this kinda stuff. Really, honestly and sincerely. I don’t know what’s got into me but… I’ve done it. And maybe it would be interesting to let you guys see it.
I got my iMac about a month ago, and ever since then my life has changed drastically. The addiction to film myself doing stupid things with the inbuilt camera is insatiable. I cannot stop it, and I cannot stop editing them too.
One fine day I remembered how Celeste (www.celestechen.com) frequently post her own home made MTVs on her website, so I’ve decided to mimick her. And I have to admit, filming your own MTV is way cooler than eating prata or mince pork noodles everynight.
Ladies and Gentlemen, in dedication to the countless wonderful videos brought to you by Celeste Chen. Here is a video Parody of John Legend’s “PDA, We Just Don’t Care“. Enjoy.
PS: PDA stands for Public Display of Affection. Kudos to Alvin Ong for enlightening me. Yes, I am that stupid. AND I AM NOT SISSY!!! I’M CELESTE CHEN, or at least pretending to be… Wahahaha

Feeding 100 dogs
April 22nd, 2007 by
I find this video very disturbing and very cruel. Why make the dogs pile up just to eat. What about the weaker ones how are they going to be fed? This is really too much. And the a** hole is holding on to a whip. Argh… Viewer discretion is advised.
And the camera man is laughing. Only a corpse would laugh at something like this jackass!

Catching Ghost
April 21st, 2007 by
Really freaky video, so view it at your own discretion. There’s alot of controversy surrounding this video though. About how the creator deliberately staged the entire thing to earn money from meta cafe (As you know they pay you for posting quality videos and stuff).
Nonetheless, I am going to embed the video here. ‘Cause of it’s real it would really be an insight for those interested in Asian exorcisms. Click More to see the video.

Virginia Tech Shootings
April 18th, 2007 by

- Gunman goes on a shooting rampage killing a total of 32 students before ending his life, bringing the death toll to 33.
- Gunman is a 23 year old senior for South Korea, Cho Seung-Hui
- The shooting rampage took place in 2 seperate places. First at the dormitory and then in the classroom building.
When you talk about campus killings, most people wouldn’t be surprised if it’s from the USA. Seriously, when the topic was discussed between a couple of friends and I, nobody responded shocked or stunned that such a thing actually happened [again]. Instead, all I got was, “Aiya, US ah? It’s not surpising.”

Chork Power
April 15th, 2007 by
Again, the world never seems to amaze me. Here you have a utensil that porks your food like a fork and yet allows you to pick them up like a chop stick.

Tada! This is what happens when you fork with chopsticks. Don’t fork around with chopsticks ok! Don’t fork around.

Hamster powered Paper shredder
April 14th, 2007 by
I always thought this was a really neat idea. ‘Cause it really saves alot of money from buying all the saw dust for your hamster (not that it cost alot, but this idea is really economical). A Hamster powered paper shredder.

The Ritz Carlton: GreenHouse
April 14th, 2007 by
Hello people I am back. It will be a very disappointing post because I had too much great food, but too little pictures. Firstly let me introduce the place.

Address: 7 Raffles Avenue, Singapore 039799
Price: SGD65.00+++ (Buffet)
Early reservation is recommended
The place has an á la carte menu and serves inter-continental buffet. For additional information you can click the link given above. You can check the timing for the buffets and the special promos that they have.
Let me explain why I didn’t take many pictures today, I can’t decorate my plate for nuts. The food was superb. Really it was, but I just don’t know how to dish it out in a manner that would look good in photos. That is why I only limited my pictures to food that was served to us or already prepared in servings.
I am the ultimate maniac when it comes to fresh sashimi. Yes, I am very particular about the freshness. And Greenhouse didn’t disappoint me a bit. My goodness, the sashimi was super fresh and I couldn’t stop myself from a second and third serving. Well the fish was easy to arrange on my plate, so I felt that it was presentable enough for a picture.

For those of you who love oysters. You really have to check this place out, ’cause my mum and dad are oyster fanatics and they we were pretty pleased with the quality they served at Greenhouse.
Ah yes, the drunken prawns were fantastic too. Served with a wine and tonic broth, the drunken prawns is something you shouldn’t miss when you visit the place. Let’s see some pictures.

Fruit juice was free flow, so were the smoothies. There are four kinds of smoothie mixtures over there. Couldn’t quite remember the names. We tried all four and yes they all tasted pretty good. My favourite was the strawberry, raspberry, blue berry and soya milk combo. Servings were small, but who cares! It’s FREE FLOW! The actual size of the cup is slightly bigger than the picture you see here. That’s my favourite flavour by the way. In a cute jug looking cup. I had a glass of fruit juice too, tomatoes and carrots. I know it’s not a really common flavour but it was nice. I like tomatoes and carrots.
The desserts ended the dinner on a high note. SO MANY CHOCOLATES TO CHOOSE FROM!! I didn’t manage to take pictures of all the desserts I ate today, but trust me I’m not saying that they’re superb just because they are from Ritz-Carlton ok! Let me digress a little. I’ve been to famous places and tasted really horrible food. One example if a hotel I used to work in. They won numerous awards and have recently upgraded themselves to a 5-star luxurious hotel but the buffet selection there was pathetic and the quality of food was so ‘uh’. Ritz-Carlton is like the epitome of buffet dining.

The green thing you see at the center of the plate of choclates is actually white chocolate with green tea filling and coated with a layer of green tea powder. I loved it, the majority of us did. The rest of the chocolate were all tasty too except the white one with orange patterns. I didn’t really like that one because it contains nuts inside. Ah, heavenly. I need to start exercising:)
Ok, besides the food I would like to compliment another thing, the service. The staff provided top notched service that totally elevated the entire dining experience. They took the liberty to inform you about the type of food they are serving how they were prepared and cook. And they do do help you to take some of the dishes too. You know it’s so different from other buffet restaurants where they just leave you there and pretend not to see you when you call for them unless it’s for the bill. Ritz-Carlton staffs are really reputable.
Total cost for the night $487. Thanks to dad and Happy Birthday Sis:) Ok, excuse me while I continue my attempts to touch my toes.
