Uncle Bondevia

August 31st, 2006 by Jonathan

Ok, I received this chilling email just this evening through the new bondevia Gmail account. Do keep the emails coming ok, albeit we don’t really get much of them recently.

I’m sorry Matthew I do not have much to reply to your email ’cause I myself am a little freaked out by your story. But I think it is an experience to share to the readers of this blog. So don’t mind me posting your email here ok?

Thanks for the email, and take care.

Regards,
Bondevia

Re: Old Changi Hospital Visit

Hi Bondevia,

This has regards to your latest entry on OCH. I’m writing to you because I have something to share about my past experience in that place.

I saw your tag about how that place has lost its ‘fright factor’ due to the increasing number of thrill seekers visiting the place. But when I was there about 1 year or so ago, the place was completely empty.

My friends and I, a group of three was wandering around the premises before and one of my friends started getting the chills. We didn’t believe the infamous rule of visiting haunted places in even numbers. So we entered from the security guards post. Strangely the guard wasn’t there.

While walking in the compound my friend suddenly fell on the floor in pain, shocked and seriously freaked out we shone our torches over to him and what we saw totally scared the effing hell out of all of us. His leg had 5 long scratches from the knee all the way to the ankle. It was as though someone or something had scratched him really hard that it tore through his skin. He was bleeding.

We picked him up and we made our way down the stairs when one of the wooden panels from the top of the entrance of the stairs fell on my friend, the same one who got scratched. I mean being ‘suay’ is one thing lah. But thank got he wasn’t hurt by the falling piece of wood. We made our way out of the hospital into the car and drove off.

The scar on his leg remained until today as a reminder that visiting one of Singapore’s most haunted places has its consequences.

Do take care of yourself, you and your friends.

Yours sincerely,
Matthew

Woman sues priest for Botched ‘Exorcism’

August 31st, 2006 by Jonathan

Adapted from: The Straits Times Home, Thursday, August 31, 2006

Here’s something you don’t see everyday, a Catholic exorcism in Singapore. Yes, in fact there has never been an official procedure like this ever performed in our sunny little island. When a person is deemed to be possessed, it is usually customary to engage a ‘bohmoh’ or a Chinese medium to exorcise the demon from the victim, that’s what you usually read from books like the True Singapore Ghost Stories Series by Russell Lee.

According to the plaintiff Madam Amutha Valli, 50, she fainted while praying at Novena Church with her friend and her son and was taken into a room where the two allege Exorcist performed an exorcism ritual on her with 7 helpers.

Now here’s the thing, Madam Valli was pinned down, throttled and verbally abused during the exercise. A proper exorcism involves restraining the possessed while the exorcist commands the devil to leave the body. So if what Mdm Valli said was true, the 2 priest and 7 helpers would be guilty of abuse. In order to perform an exorcism ritual, the priest would have to be specially appointed by the bishop; apparently this is not the case.

The exorcism has left Mdm Valli traumatized and now she requires 24 hour care, even when going to the toilet. What seems to be an act of vanquishing any form of demonic presence in a person has obviously left the recipient feeling traumatized and acting hysterically, a behavior commonly displayed by a possessed person?

Both Fathers denied any act of exorcism when previously interviewed, but when contacted by TST, Father Tan said Mdm Valli had approached them for help and that he and Father Ong had only prayed over her in an act of deliverance.

Deliverance is an act of praying for a person and is commonly performed here. But unlike an exorcism, the act of deliverance does not involve any form of restraint on the recipient and certainly would not involve any form of verbal abuse. So who is telling the truth? Could Mdm Valli actually be overreacting? Could the devil in her be so powerful to force her to go against the church? Only God knows.

One thing I know for sure is that, IF Mdm Valli continues to display such behavior; she really needs to get exorcised.

Other Important facts of this story:
Mdm Valli’s husband Suppiah Jeyabal, 55; a Taxi Driver is seeking damages of up to $250,000. This sum of money will cover Mdm Valli’s loss of earnings as a tutor and future medical expenses including psychiatric treatment.

Now I’m beginning to wonder, could this be a scam?

Sex Puppet Show

August 30th, 2006 by Jonathan

At some point of our lives, all of us would have seen shadow puppet shows like this. It could be on Television or on books and magazines and it could even be live.

Five ignorant little boys were in a car yesterday on our way to Seletar Reservoir Tower to investigate into the supernatural realm, but much to our disappointment, we didn’t see anything paranormal there.

Slackaroo, Molomolo, Jia Yong, Sing Hua and I were taken by surprise when we saw something that we shouldn’t see. Haha, yes a free puppet show. Ok, before I go on let me clarify something. We’re not voyeurs ok, we do not peep at people secretly, hiding at some corner taking pictures and videos of them changing or engaging in sexual acts like what happened to poor Gillian from Twins.

The couple having sex in the car is doing it in the open. In a brightly lit area without any discretion. It is not our fault that we stumbled on thier Mitsubishi love nest. Anyways, let me show you some pictures, then you’ll understand what I meant when I said ‘doing it in the open’.

Ok, for convenience sake I’ve did a print of how their positions could be like in the car.

The Driver’s seat was pushed all the way to the front. The passenger seat to the left of the driver’s seat is leveled to form a bed. This is just an assumption from what we saw. The girl is definitely on top and the guy is confirmed to be lying down. All this happening under a lamp post at the only round-about in the area.

Talk about being exhibitionist, ’cause most people having sex in the area are all parked at dark corners where nobody would usually notice, but these 2 horny monkeys had to do it openly, with the lampost at the back casting their shadows onto the misty windows of the car. IT WAS REALLY A SEX PUPPET SHOW!!

If pictures are not enough, here’s a video. You would notice a couple of fishermen (obviously illegal fishing) walking towards their car to peep at the horny love birds. And the couple did nothing at all!! It’s either they are in a really orgasmic state or they really don’t mind letting everyone who drives past the round about see them in their cute little mating ritual. Anyways, here’s the video. It’s really blur ’cause we’re really far and it’s really dark and I’ve zoom in to the max. So squint your eyes a little and watch the guy come up to suckle her boobies. Did I just say that? Ah, heck.

There are some couples who resort to pasting newspapers/plastic bag on their car windows to prevent people from seeing them engaging in any sexual acts. Here’s a tip on how to provide them with a little more entertainment. It only works if you have a car or if your friend has a car or if you and your friends drove there in a car, bondevia.

  1. Turn on high beam and flash it on the windows with newspaper
  2. Get someone to do the sound effects
  3. While Another person do a puppet show by casting shadows on the newspaper

This will definitely spice up their sexual experience. Probably boosting their labido to a whole new level. Savvy?

Old Changi Hospital 2

August 28th, 2006 by Jonathan

My old pals and I decided to meet up for supper last night at Thomson Prata house. What was suppose to be a normal supper outing, turned out to be an adventurous night at the Old Changi Hospital.

Seriously, how did we get ourselves into such a mess, I still do not know. But we sure did enjoyed ourselves to a certain extent. So here’s the head count, Slackaroo and his girlfriend Tweety, Jia Yong, Sing Hua and I (Bondevia) drove 2 cars over to Changi Village to catch horny men engaging in oral sex with the trannies. Slackaroo and Jia Yong were racing along the Pan Island Expressway much to the dismay of Jia Yong, we reached there first.

We had so much fun cruising along the car park looking at trannies with super hot bodies, albeit we didn’t managed to catch any in action. We then drove over to both carparks that supposedly are the prime locations for trannie to ‘give good head’ (for those who do not know what is ‘give good head’ click here to watch the video)

Anyways, since we were in the vicinity, again, why not go pay Old Changi Hospital a visit? But this time we’re not going to stay inside the car, we decided to go in.

Slackaroo made a few phone calls to his friend Micheal and soon enough he was over with 2 more cars. That was when all the thrill-seeking began. The four guys (Jia Yong, Sing Hua, Slackaroo and I) started climbing the infamous stairway to hell. The others didn’t join us because it wasn’t within their comfort levels and I don’t wanna get charged in court for causing someone to get a heart attack.

Jia Yong was a little precautious while climbing the stairs ’cause of his army experiences. It was understandable when he said he didn’t want to ‘play’ with such stuff, I mean it’s not everyday that you get to see your platoon mates go missing and dying because of supernatural reasons in Tekong. Yes, I am serious about dying in Tekong because of supernatural reasons. And the highlight of this incident is the fact that the victim is only 3 days away from ORD. Nonetheless, the 6 ignorant us decided to enter one of the buildings to do our little paranormal investigation.

Here’s a couple of pictures I took. Didn’t take much though ’cause they needed my handphone as the source for light.

Not everyone entered Old Changi Hospital. Jia Yong left early and Clara stayed in the car with Micheal and his friends. Only Slackaroo, Sing Hua, Me and 3 more of Micheal’s friends entered the compound.

So there were only 6 people, where did the 7th shadow come from? Spooky right? Haha. Another picture that I was paying attention to was the one taken at the entrance.

Well, I took the picture because I wanted to take the Old Changi Hospital Sign at the top of the building. In case you were wondering how did I managed to find such an unnoticeable ‘entity’, I tested all my photos by increasing the brightness and contrast to detect any strange anomalies and also to give me a clearer and brighter view of everything in the picture. This is what I got from the entrance photo.

I’ve increased the brightness of the area that I want you to pay attention to, just for the sake of convenience. See it? The anomaly? Haha, I am pretty sure there are a couple of you skeptics out there. I myself do admit to being a little skeptical at times, but there are times when I also cannot find any logical explanations for pictures likes these. Maybe that is why they are deemed as The Unexplained.

There will be another outing to OCH somewhere this week if all goes well. This time we will be prepared with cameras, touch-lights and of course protection. Hopefully we’ll get something more convincing this time. And if you are interested to come, and you have a car or a friend who drives, do contact me.

Now, I’m going to remove my wisdom tooth surgecally. Ouch. Bondevia out.

PM National Day Rally Speech: Mr Brown

August 24th, 2006 by Jonathan

I was watching Prime Minister Lee’s National Day Rally speech a couple of days ago (I know I should be studying), and he touched on how Singaporeans are now moving on a a new level where people are more IT educated and how Singapore’s future is looking good. Then he moved on and talked about Mr Brown and his column suspension on TODAY Newspaper.

Singapore is a place where the government would encourage people to speak up, only to stop them from speaking further. Then let me ask this question, are we all entitled to what we have to say? Do we have the right to voice out how we feel? Singapore may be one of the best place to live in in the world in terms of political and social stability, but still it is not perfect. I read Mr Brown’s article and I feel that most of the issues that he touched on were ralative to what most of us in the society are feeling today.

I feel that if so many people are criticising the government for their actions, obviously something is wrong here. And for suspending Mr Brown’s humour column on Today, it only goes to show how much freedom of expression we are entitled to.

Anyways, just to lighten the mood a little. You should listen to Mr Brown’s creative response to PM Lee’s Speech.

Freedom

August 24th, 2006 by Jonathan

Woo Hoo!! Finally my exams are over. Now I am free for 10 days before I start my attachment at Grand Plaza Park Royal Hotel. Damn, everyone gets a 2 month holiday before school starts again, and I only get 10 days.

My attachment will last me, say 5 months and 2 weeks? I’ll be done most probably on Feb 02, 2007. I’ll be officially graduated by then, Time really flies huh??

Suddenly I feel that I am going to lose my social life. First because of my unpredictable working schedule (it’s either the 7-3pm shift or 3-11pm shift) dang right? And second, my working schedule might not tally with the schedule of my friends. I’m goign to miss so many people, especially Slackaroo and Molomolo, my 2 best pals.

Well, at least I know I am still able to club when I ‘m on the later shift. So who want’s to book me for clubbing cause it really has been be long time since I clubbed and enjoyed myself. Momo 2 weeks ago was a disappointment I must say, but I don’t wanna go on talking abt the past all over again.

So my schedule for next week is more or less booked already. Hopefully my friends and I will be making our way to JB with SGD20.00 to see what can we do there. We don’t wanna get robbed you see, and we feel SGD20.00 is enough to do alot in Malaysia. Haha. we’ll see.

Royal Crumble

August 19th, 2006 by Jonathan

The first time Prince Harry appeared on the papers, I remembered, was for drinking alcohol and taking drugs. Haha, but this royalty can’t seem to get enough attention from the tabloids. Yup, his back and within a timespan of 2 months… This is what he has ‘accomplished’ chronologically.
