Blogging: The Ultimate Platform

July 30th, 2006 by Jonathan

I was reading today’s papers (I know I hardly have the time) and I read the article on Lifestyle about blogging. Which brings me to one thing, if there are roughly 50 Million blogs out there, all over our over shrunken planet, and each and every one of them is competing to become famous then what are my chances of getting famous?

People like Xia Xue, Dawn Yang (*Sizzling* hot lady, love her!) Mr Brown and Mr Miyagi, they have all established their blogebrity status way before blogging officially became the number platform for the latest news and insights to our over shrunken world. So they do not really have a problem competing with the 50 million other bloggers out there. They are the gurus, pioneers of blogging.

When Tammy officially became the number one talk of the town, Newspaper reporters (in general) had to resort to emailing bloggers asking them if they knew tammy and if they had her contact. When the ghost videos came out, again newspaper reporters sent out emails further probing bloggers the authenticity of the videos and what not.

When Colin and Kero came out, though the newpapers did not get involved this time, it was blogs that helped boost the homosexual couple into blogebrity status. It’s a pity that the both of them are currently on the rocks, but that’s out of the question I guess. Blogging has officially become a very powerful tool for communication. So much so that The Straits Times had to launch STOMP, with a collaboration of Star bloggers to help propel their readership.

So back to what I was previously talking about. What does my blog have to give me a competitive edge? Nothing. Not a very intelligent entry if you ask me. But I’ll think of something soon.

And if you are considering on entering this industry, here’s a recommendation; use BLOGGER.

Love you all.

Quick Quick

July 27th, 2006 by Jonathan

Just a quick hello to all of you out there. This site is so full of cobwebs, I will have to revamp it by the time I officially return from my work.

For now, It’s projects, projects and more projects. My life is completely routine and Orchard Road has officially become a new place for me. Sad to say, I can only be 100% free from all this stress after next week, probably Thursday.

Viewership for this blog has dropped to an all time low. I’m very understanding, I am partially to blame. But when I come back, I’ll ask a favour from all of you. Help me promote this blog again. Wahaha. Well, it’s is not compulsory though, but if you feel that you like bondevia.blogspot.com and you think it deserves a second chance, well thank you very much! I will bounce back with an all new, all funky, all debt free blog purely for your entertainment.

What debt am I talking about?
HONG KONG PICTURES
HONG KONG VIDEOS

Yup, I still rememeber, in fact the Hong Kong video is already 10% done. ‘Cause I need it for my presentation in August. So stay tune for that.

Just some quick updates, I love you guys:)!

Just for your entertainment, look below.

Wahaha. Pure Entertainment

July 11th, 2006 by Jonathan

Look at that horse. Wahaha. Right. They always say that TV ad promoters are stupid, but I didn’t know they were stupid until such an extent.

Did you see the horse? with it’s teeth and tail? I didn’t. But I liked the way he tried to cover up in the end. Haha, joker “Look at what the zoom did, you can see the details in the antenna” RIGHT, and I am sure we all buy that.

Shakira Shakira! hips don’t lie may have topped the charts quite some time ago, but this song is still so popular.

Oh baby when you dance like that, your video drives me mad.

Ok, maybe initially the video was funny, but after some time you’d just think it’s stupid.

Oh and for those of you who missed the historic move that Zinedin Zidane did in the WC finals. Here you go.

Happy Birthday to…. ME

July 10th, 2006 by Jonathan

Wahaha, Thanks alot guys for that really wonderful celebration. Really appreciate all the effort. Even though some of you couldn’t make it, I really love the smses and the presents.

First day of celebration started on Friday. With my a group of my secondary school brothers. Though it was a simple dinner, I really appreciate the thought of them coming down despite their busy schedules.

My family, they means so much to me, thank you for the wonderful dinner and that really wonderful gift from dad. Japanese food has always been our family’s favourite, so there we were at another Japanese buffet restaurant, $30 per pax again (similar to Ikoi, but maybe a standard better).

To those of you who remembered and wished me by sms, thanks alot! It feels really good to know that people do remember you birthday, I deeply appreciate it.

To my readers, WAHHHHHHH!!! Thank you so much for all the tags. Haha, I make it sound like there’s so many, nonethless, I am so touched when I came online.

The last day of celebrations, Sunday was the biggest surprise ever. I love you guys so much and thank you for the presents. I don’t mean to portray a very materialistic kinda image, but the gifts were really thoughtful.

Dinner at Manhattan was so cool. HOW DID YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THAT’S MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT?!?! Ok, fine! I left my fair share of clues and hints also. But still!!

The bum boat ride at Boat Quay was really romantic. Though I was the only one who was single over there *hint hint* I really enjoyed the company of my friends.

Just to name a few names (apologies if I missed any), Slackaroo(Sherman) and Molomolo (Damien), Angela, Imran, Jia Ying, Chiu Xiang, Heng Ping, Cheryl, Marisa, Beakie!, Florine, Pei Wen, Michelle, Jian Ji, Krystle, Jun Hong, GABRIEL (I didn’t forget you), WEE HOON, Clara, Amy, Tse Min, Andrew, Geraldine (Molomolo’s girl), Rivand, Wee Kiat, James, Janice, Yu Ling, Keat, my dearest Lai family, Jacky, Benji, Cyber, Toffee, and the list goes on and on and on. I really am sorry if your name doesn’t appear here. Oh yah, Prissy and Tze Chi! Thank you so much for making my 19 years so happy. Especially to my 10 magical years bestfriend, you know how grateful I am to you, you know who you are.

This is us at the wonderful Changi International Airport. Again number 1 for the year 2005, hopefully it will keep its title this year.
