Frog Sashimi
May 29th, 2006 by
Most of you would know that Bondevia takes a very firm stand against any form of cruelty to animals. That would include chickens, cows, ducks and whatever you love to eat. The least you could do is to kill them before you start preparing them to eat.
The following video shows you how frog sashimi is prepared. Despite the fact that the main ingredient is a FROG, it is still an animal. It was skinned alive, sliced into many edible pieces and the heart still beating when it was eaten.
Caution, this footage contains very disturbing graphics. Viewer discretion is highly advised.

After watching this. You would never wanna shampoo your hair ever again. Good for people like Slackaroo who don’t make an effort to shampoo at all!

About Time…
May 27th, 2006 by
Bondevia will officially be 6 months old on July the 1st and I will officially turn 19 on the 9th of July.
Time really passes I must say. It’s going so fast that I feel like I don’t have time to do anything at all. I’ve been seriously deprived of party for a very long time already.

Singapore Idol
May 26th, 2006 by
Ok, finally to start my Singapore Idol entry proper. As I was saying why is the sunny island of Singapore filled with so many delusional people? What is it, in their minds that causes them to go on live television to make a fool out of themselves? It is their dreams. Yup, their dreams to become a superstar, to become famous, to get recognised. But singing itself needs talent, that you have to agree to a certain extend.
I know it can be trained, but if you really do not have the voice than training will only prove futile in the end. The point I am trying to bring across here is, everyone of us have dreams and aspirations. But what we should actually do is to realise our talents and use them to our advantage. If you don’t have a talent for singing, that let your dream remain a dream. It’s much better than trying to realised your dream on National Television, only to make it become your nightmare. Find your REAL talent. Singing is noteverything.
Your foolishness will be edged into every viewers’ mind. Replayed on television for everyone to see. Special effects added to enhance the stupidity. Here are some clear examples. Laughable, indeed laughable. But if you were in their shoes. What would you be feeling right now? Ironic isn’t it?
Nonetheless, the Bondevia Crew have always been entertaining others with what we perceived as entertainment. So, enjoy the videos below.

Mentos Bomb
May 25th, 2006 by
When you really have nothing to do and you’re willing to spend at least 2 bucks on a bottle of carbonated drink, then you can try this! Wahaha!
I can’t guarantee that this actually works. BUT I will definitely give it a try when I am free. Which won’t be anytime soon.
So if anyone out there decides to give this a try, do tell me what is the result of mixing Mentos with a carbonated drink ok?
PS: The guy is such a wuss.

What have I been up to?
May 25th, 2006 by
I was working on a project about Discrimination and Prejudice. How lucky can I get right? I was writing the entry about racial discrimination about a month ago and BOOM I received this assignment. To read that entry, click here.
Well, I did the discrimination of Race, Physical Disability and Homosexuals. Yup, homosexuals! Here’s the poster of my homosexual skit.

Movie Review: X-Men 3
May 25th, 2006 by
So there I was, braving through the torrential rains this afternoon just to get into Thomson Plaza to book the X-Men 3 tickets at the AXS machine. All drench, I dragged my body to the counter determined to get a place in Junction 8’s Golden Village cinema for me and molomolo. Enough dramatisation, straight to the review. Wahahaha!
X-Men 3: The Last Stand

I am sure most of you would have realised the Jean Grey is back as Pheonix in this sequel. I mean look, she’s on posters everywhere so I’m not really spoiling anything.
I have been waiting for a very long time and I am glad that it wasn’t a disappointment, even though some of the characters’ origins differ slightly from the comic. Like how Jugganaut and Prof. Xavier are suppose to be related, this wasn’t the case in the movie.
YES, do expect alot of deaths from the more popular characters. The rumours are true, Cyclops is going to die in this sequel. I’m not much of a Cyclops fan though. I like Gambit. But pathetically enough, none of the X-Men movies included Gambit in their story!!
Well, the girls are pretty much going to ogle at Angel’s body, probably hoping that he would have more air time in this movie. Well, I’m doing all of you a favour for posting his picture here.

No time
May 23rd, 2006 by
Ah! finally I found some decent time for blogging. Apologies for my absense, I am so exhausted by school. This is the life you get for being a third year Business student.
Bah, enough of my blabbering already. Time to get down on some serious shit.
Did any of you catch the latest instalment of Singapore Idol last Sunday? If you did you would probably feel ashamed that there are people like that in our country.
I used to think that Singapore is so small, that all the all the delusional people would have tried and get rejected in the first Singapore idol. But it seems like in this season, there’s no difference. Infact weirder people are auditioning this time around! I’m not going to get all soft and say things like “I don’t mean to to insult them yada yada yada” but let’s face it, if you can’t sing, don’t sing. Singapore Idol is just not for you.
Yes, I can’t sing that is also why you don’t see me at the auditions. Standards are much higher this time around because of the previous idol competition. But seriously I do not see why there are so many delusional people in this country. Passion for singing, it’s good that you have it, but that doesn’t mean you can sing you know?
I’ll update again.
Update:
Thanks Caster for correcting my spelling. I’m not goign to give an excuse for my mistake. A mistake is a mistake afterall. ‘Delusional’ I’ll remember it this time. haha!
