Movie Review: The Long Weekend

Sometimes the problem with YouTube is that their videos just vanish and disappear?

Anyways, I was at town this afternoon to catch this really good movie that I feel you guys should consider checking it out.

The Long Weekend

This movie basically is about this boy, Ed (Brendan Fehr) who is totally obsessed with taking home videos ever since he could lay his hands on a video camera.

Thing is, the girl he is attached to apparently had an affair with his best friend which in the end got them seperated.

And somehow because of this, he got fired from his advertising job. How it all links, you have to watch the show to find out.

Cooper (Chris Klein) who so happens to be Ed’s brother decides to take matters into his own hands and tries to help him out. What he didn’t know is that everything he does, just made things worse.

This movie is all about home videos, animal private parts, breast and how to get laid in 2 days.

I’ll rate this movie 4.5 outta 5 popcorns. Before you actually watch it. Why not just spare some time to view the trailer below.

Well it is the Chinese New Year and all of us are going to have, a Long Weekend.

Ok, so much for being corny.

Time flies and it’s CNY again. Not that I am not anticipating it or anything, it’s just that I feel that I’m getting old. Angela mentioned something this afternoon that got me thinking. She said, “is it me getting old, or do I see alot of young kids in Orchard road today?” As a matter of fact Angela, we are all growing old. Ok, being 18 is not really such a bad thing especially when you are legal to do almost anything legal? Did that make sense? Bondevia!

Anyways I will be collecting my Ang Paos in another 2 days time and I so can’t wait for it! *Evil Grin* Anyone game for catching ‘I Not Stupid Too’? Somehow I am keen on watching that flick. Seriously the first flick was kinda meaningful don’t you think?

Imran was doing research on our project just 2 days ago when he stumbled across this on yahoo.sg.

Well you can click it to enlarge it. I didn’t know whatever they published in our schools network would appear in Yahoo. But somehow seeing this makes me feel proud. Then again, it might not mean anything at all to some of you.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Imran, Angela, Jia Ying and Alfred for working with me on this wonderful project. And I hope that our upcoming presentation and Business report will be successful.

I bought this new shirt today at Flesh Imp Heerens. I thought it was nice, the design is totally what I love. The way they drew the skull and the way they printed the fonts. Somehow the shirt just appealed to me and so I bought it.

I didn’t know I must have the ‘flesh imp‘ look to buy their stuff. I mean it is this kinda design pattern that totally describes my personality and my passion for my own work and one of my friends come along and say “you would buy this type of shirt one meh?”

No puns intended but I tend to get very offended by your words sometimes. So much that I really feel like ignoring you, and thats what I have been doing. If clothes really have different users, than you shouldn’t be dressing in the way you dress sometimes? It’s all about the money, and I have it, so I’ll buy what I want and get what I like. It’s not the first time words like this is coming from you. And I feel that you are just too shallow to comment further.Period.

Well, every season of American Idol there is bound to be at least 1 person to make a fool outta his or herself. And this time is it not because of stupidity, not because of foolish act. This time she is totally…. retardo.

Her dressing. Damn I have nothing to say about it except, please Rhonetta if you ever stumble across my blog (which I know will never happen), know your limits! Don’t make me call the fashion police!

Her lack of self modesty? The way she raises her legs and exposes her undergarments. I nearly puked my dinner out even if they censored it with AI’s logo. Again, know your limits.

You know seriously, I think the Geisha from Mad TV would sing better than her. Goodness which psychic friend of hers actually said she would be successful? There must be a huge crack in her crystal ball or apparently she’s not psychic, just psycho.

Did all you you catch American Idol 5: San Francisco just now? I sure did and again I got a good laugh! If only they had the videos out now, sorry for being so impatient. Still I wonder what happened to Simon Cowell. I mean I still couldn’t figure out what Randy Jackson said that made him pissed. By the way, in case you didn’t know, Simon left the audition room before the the auditions were completed. Maybe it’s because of what Randy kept saying, “Simon is having a bad day today.” You know, sometimes if people tend to repeat something about you too many time, you get really annoyed?

I was reading The Newpaper today, and I came across the article about JJ Lin wanting to become all sexy and manly in his book. Sitting on a toilet bowl with his pants down, trying to act like Korean heart throb Rain exposing his upper body. Personally I had the impression of JJ Lin being a very decent person. Now I just feel he is a poseur? Maybe like what his manager said, he has the body to show off, why waste it. Oh well, whatever the manager has up his sleeve.. Good for him. I’m not a fan of JJ Lin anyways, neither do I dislike him.

This could be another media gimmick. Wait a minute, it is a media gimmick. But correct me if I’m wrong, this gimmick seems to be a failure? The response I see from The Newpaper is rather negative. Many people are shocked by his behavior. One even went to the extent of saying that his career is being flushed down a toilet bowl, just like the one he is sitting on.

Well it is my job to satisfy as many people as I can. This is dedicated to my polymate Jun Hong.

Takes time to load. But I gotta admit, this is a really nice song. Personally I don’t, I repeat, I don’t listen to Chinese songs. But this will start a whole new trend. Or at least I think it will, not! Haha! Enjoy Jun Hong!

I’m aware of what the newspaper articles say about buying your music. Well, they didn’t say anything about music videos, so I shall entertain my friends first!

Everything is up!

Finally my blog is ready to rock. I reckoned that most of you will be able to see the flash banner on the top. There’s still another flash animation on the left of the screen. Which takes a longer time to load because of it’s size. Just don’t clear your cookies and you won’t have to wait for the flash to load again the next time you visit? wahaha!

Well, I’ve put in a great deal of effort just to fix this site up, hope you guys like it. What is the meaning of “Da Happening” one might ask? Well “DA” obviously is a very commonly used slang nowadays representing the word “the”. I think most of you would probably have known that by now. Happening just means everything that has happened?

Honestly, I don’t even know why I came up with that name. BUT, I do know the meaning of “Bondevia”.

Bondevia was created when I was in secondary 2 by one of my classmates. Her name was Tracie Anne Lazaroo (in case you didn’t know, I was madly inlove with her back then) and she had this habit of sayig thne word ‘watever’. She would say that word so often sometimes that her tongue would get twisted and presto! Thus the word BONDEVIA was borned!

Anyways, there’s nothing much for me to write on currently. All I know is bird flu is the latest gossip and the heavy downpour has stopped. Well, it did rain for about an hour this afternoon, but at least it did not rain for days like what happened for the pass few weeks.

Bah, did I mentioned that the Ministry of Sound is one of the coolest place on earth? Went there last week Saturday with Sherman, Damien and Jen Wei. I can tell they were bored out of their asses (maybe because of the small company), but Damien really can shake that booty! wahaha! Ok, at least I enjoyed myself the fist 2 times I went there.

My Poly classmates will be checking MOS out on the 25 of Jan. Can’t wait for that to happen! It’s been a long time since we partied.

By the way, it has been a long time since I did lots of stuff.
